Thames sailing barges had mustered at Pin Mill, Suffolk, on Saturday 27th June 2015 by dawn and were setting sails to race over their start line for just after 10am. This was the Pin Mill Barge Match's 54th event organised by Pin Mill Sailing Club.

Racing is organised in to three classes; a Bowsprit class A, a Steel Staysails class B and Wooden Staysails class C.

Class A: Start time 10:30:00

1st - EDME who received the RHYC Challenge Cup.

2nd - MIROSA who was awarded the Hedley Farrington Challenge Cup.

First across start line was EDME taking the Cranfield Challenge Cup. She was also the first to outer mark and took the Pauls & Whites Challenge Cup.

Class B: Start time 10:45:00,

1st - EDITH MAY who received the PMSC Challenge Cup.

In 2nd was REPERTOR taking the Capt. Smy Challenge Cup.

In 3rd place, REMINDER was awarded the Capt. Clark (Dilberry) Challenge Cup.

First across start line, MELISSA (Capt. Chas. Webb Challenge Cup). First to outer mark was EDITH MAY taking the Horlock Challenge Cup. Also racing - Melissa (4th), Niagara (retired)

Class C: Start time 11:00:00

1st - ARDWINA winning the Henry Filmer Challenge Cup. Also racing was the CENTAUR who retired making ARDWINA first across start line (Haste Challenge Cup).



The 55th  Thames Barge Match, hosted by the Pin Mill Sailing Club will be held on Saturday 16th July 2016 .
